An Exciting Week of Pet Recovery Missions at Quick Drone Services

This week was one of the busiest and most rewarding weeks we've had here at Quick Drone Services. Our Thermal Drone Pet Rec

overy Team was called upon to assist in the search for three missing dogs: Saylor, a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP), Chrissy, a Dalmatian, and Jasper, a Black Labrador Retriever.

Every search is unique, and each mission presents its own challenges. While not every search ends the same way, we remain committed to helping families reunite with their beloved pets.

Saylor – Located in Just 3½ Hours

Our first mission involved Saylor, a missing German Shorthaired Pointer. After conducting a thermal drone search of the area, we were able to locate Saylor in approximately 3½ hours. Using our thermal imaging technology, we detected Saylor resting near a retention pond where she had remained hidden from view.

Thanks to the drone's ability to quickly scan large areas and identify heat signatures, Saylor was safely recovered and reunited with her family.

Chrissy – Found After 11 Days Missing

Our second case involved Chrissy, a Dalmatian who had been missing for 11 days. During that time, volunteers and family members covered hundreds of acres searching for any sign of her.

Although our search efforts continued, the breakthrough came when a valuable tip was received. Chrissy was ultimately located behind a self-storage facility near a set of railroad tracks. After nearly two weeks on the run, she was finally brought home safely.

This case serves as a reminder that successful recoveries often require a combination of technology, community involvement, and persistence.

Jasper – The Search Continues

Our third mission involved Jasper, a Black Labrador Retriever who has now been missing for six days.

Our team spent an exhausting four hours conducting a thermal drone search over the area where Jasper was last seen. Despite extensive coverage and careful review of thermal imagery, we were unable to locate him during this operation.

While this search did not produce the outcome we hoped for, we remain optimistic. Missing pet searches can be unpredictable, and new information can change everything in an instant. We encourage anyone who may have seen Jasper to report sightings immediately.

Every Search Matters

This week brought two successful reunions and one ongoing mission. While we're celebrating the safe return of Saylor and Chrissy, our thoughts remain with Jasper and his family as the search continues.
